Excavator Program
IN CLASS TRAINING:
A Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator) includes one level of theoretical training delivered in a classroom, which includes subjects such as:
- safety
- pre-operation inspection
- general preventive maintenance
- operating excavator
- transporting equipment
IN YARD TRAINING:
A Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator) Program involves practical training provided in the yard by a trainer. The skills or competencies to be developed through this training include:
- wearing, maintaining and adjusting personal protective equipment
- demonstrating appropriate workplace actions
- mounting and dismounting equipment
- demonstrating safe operating practices
- demonstrating appropriate worksite communications skills

3-4 Days

$1500.00 + HST
REFRESHER COURSE:
Individualized training is available for those operators with prior experience. This option is perfect for those who are looking for a quick refresher course or training prior to a job interview or skills assessment at work.
Each Training Session: $200.00 + HST
